We
leave our hotels early in the morning to
catch the first glance of the sun and find
the whale shark swimming at the surface of
the ocean. The whale shark is mostly seen
early in the morning because he seeks the
time that the sun is not too hot in order to
feed itself.We leave early in the morning, we get to our boat to start the journey trough the op
en sea to meet the whale shark. As we
travel trough the ocean we suddenly discover
that we are surrounded by this amazing
animal, the whale shark comes out to greet
us and show us its peace and majesty, these
animals are approximately 15 meters long and
they move slowly trough the sea seeking the
small animals they feed on.
We get the snorkeling equipment ready and jump into the water to see them swimming in the crystal clear waters of the ocean. It’s a unique and magical moment that you will cherish forever.
The whale sharks visit us only a few months out of the year, beginning in early June and leaving in August. If you are planning your visit to the Mayan Riviera during those months, you must not miss the incredible opportunity to meet the won
