Sian
Kaan in Mayan language means a place where the
sky meets the ocean or a place where the sun is born.
We start early in the morning to have the opportunity to
enjoy this visit as long as we can. To get to Sian Kaan
reserve we will use the services of a special form of
transportation. It is difficult to drive trough the reserve
in a regular car which prevents a large amount of people
having access to the Biore
serve.
By taken this offbeat road through the beautiful scenery of
Sian Kaan Bioreserve we, we arrive at Punta Allen and the
small town of
Rojo Gomez. Rojo Gomez is a
small fishermen town, perfect for those seeking peace and
quiet in the midst of nature.
We get into the boat to start our journey and discover the
fabulous bird sanctuary and enjoy our day in the company of
dolphins, sea turtles and a big variety of exotic creatures.

We stop at a natural sea lagoon where we swim and snorkel in
the most amazing starfish garden, surrounded by the magic of
nature.
After our visit we enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the
fishermen of Rojo Gomez that consists of the regional fish.
We return to our hotels at approximately 8:00 pm .
